MICHAEL BLEYLE
Joining Corticon in 2000, Mike founded the Client Services department, developing and managing the professional services, support, training, and documentation teams until Corticon’s acquisition by Progress Software in late 2011.
During his time at Corticon, Mike was directly involved in virtually all aspects of Corticon BRMS deployment with customers and partners, including design, scoping, architecture, training, implementation, mentoring, and support.
Prior to Corticon, Mike spent 5 years at Applied Materials in product and project management, and 5 years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear-qualified surface warfare officer and engineer officer.
Mike holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Mike lives in Philomont, a rural hamlet at the northeastern edge of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
JAN VAN NIMWEGEN
After two years of experience with Mainframe COBOL applications, Jan became an expert systems specialist in the early nineties. His first specialization was the AionDS tool, which later evolved into Aion. He moved to the United States in 1998. In early 2007, Jan joined Corticon as a Field Architect and Principal Technical Consultant. He quickly became an expert in Corticon BRMS.
During his time at Corticon (and through acquisition, Progress Software) Jan trained nearly two hundred business analysts and technical specialists in modeling rules in Corticon BRMS. He also worked on large applications — including design, scoping, architecture, implementation, training, mentoring and support.
For the past thirty years he has worked on many different solutions in a plethora of industries including insurance, manufacturing, banking and healthcare.
Jan holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands.
Upon starting his career in IT after college, he became certified in COBOL and soon after became involved with expert systems.
Jan lives near Washington Dulles Airport, the Virginia gateway to the rest of the world.
In his free time he is actively involved as a volunteer for USA Swimming, as well as his hometown recreational summer swimming league.
KEITH BRZOZOWSKY
Keith joined Corticon in early 2001 and has provided professional services for Corticon BRMS ever since. While at Corticon, he helped perform all of the Client Services department functions at various times, including pre-sales in the first few years of the company.
Following Corticon’s acquisition by Progress Software in late 2011, Keith served as the Corticon practice lead for the Progress professional services organization. He has worked with numerous customers and partners over the years, and has personally trained over 500 Corticon BRMS end users.
Before joining Corticon, Keith worked for an e-commerce startup for 1 year and Applied Materials for 2.5 years, in project management roles for both companies. Prior to that, he served for 8 years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear-qualified submarine officer.
Keith holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Hawaii.
Keith lives in western Loudoun County, Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
